You'll also find recommendations: books, films, and characters worth your time — like Matt Scudder walking downtown in the rain, or Vera Stanhope pulling a truth from someone who swore they’d never speak again.
Sometimes, I’ll write about writing. Other times, I’ll follow an idea into the fog and see what crawls out the other side. No promises. Just a flashlight and a point of view.
